Seedlings are here!

Thankfully these recently planted seedlings made it through the "winter" weather we had a week ago! This is the time of the year when you cross your fingers and hope the little plants find warmth in the rich soil despite the varying temperatures. BUT it looks like Spring is here to stay!

This weekend I planted millet, scabiosa, bells of ireland, gomphrena, and statice - all for summer harvest.  I am reminded that the planting calendar for flowers never ends! At least every week I am planting more, either in the greenhouse, or out in the field. Every time I plant I am amazed that the tiniest of seeds become such extraordinary plants!

Thank you for asking about the flowers and expressing your excitement for the upcoming season. If you have not already purchased a share and would like to please let me know, or check out the CSA page for payment options. Happy Spring!
